Marcio Sandri is president of the Composites business at Owens Corning, a residential and commercial building products leader and pioneer in glass fiber reinforcements innovation. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee and Glass Reinforcements Management Team.
Mr. Sandri was named president of the Composites business in May 2018. Immediately prior to this, he served as vice president of global strategy and operations for Composites. He also previously served as vice president and managing director of the Americas region.
From 2011 to 2013, he led the Asia Pacific Composites business in Shanghai, China, while also holding the position of vice president and managing director of Global Glass Reinforcements. Prior to this, he served as general manager for the Latin America region and commercial director for Composites in Latin America.
Prior to joining Owens Corning, Mr. Sandri worked at Dow Chemical in Latin America and the U.S. in various sales, marketing, and business development roles.
Mr. Sandri earned a degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Parana and studied business administration at the University of São Paulo in Brazil.
